Encompass To Announce The Encompass Cares Foundation
Dallas, Texas, February 26, 2008 – The Encompass mission of A Better Way to Care goes a step further by announcing the Encompass Cares Foundation. It is about giving and serving.
Encompass Cares is a 501c(3) nonprofit charitable organization that has two objectives. The first is to fund medical mission trips around the world to those impoverished and in need. Reaching beyond geographic boundaries, the Medical Missions program provides Encompass employees, affiliates, retirees and volunteers the opportunity to care for the medically underserved throughout the world.
The second objective is to manage the annual Encompass Cares Community Assistance Program to support programs throughout the Encompass company that help patients and their families with living necessities including fans in the summer and heaters in the winter.
Employees and community members may give in several different ways. They may decide to give monetarily through a payroll deduction, one-time or annual gift.
Encompass employees, retirees, and affiliates may serve by applying for a grant to travel on a health-focused mission trip.
