Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2006 Award Winner
in Southwest Area
Award Recognizes Entrepreneurial Excellence in Health/Sciences Category
Dallas, Texas, June 17, 2006 - Encompass Home Health today announced that April Anthony received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2006 Award in the Health/Sciences category in the Southwest Area. According to Ernst & Young, the award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic and growing businesses. April Anthony was selected by an independent panel of judges and the award was presented at an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 20th anniversary gala event at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas on Saturday, June 17th.
April Anthony has a 14 year history as an owner and CEO in the home health industry and is currently the CEO of Encompass Home Health which she formed in 1998. Anthony has been instrumental in the growth of the company from a start up entity to an over $75 million conglomerate of agencies servicing over 5,000 patients throughout Texas and Oklahoma. Anthony has found a business she is passionate about. She states, “I am proud to lead an organization that makes a difference each and every day in the lives of over 5,000 patients while also creating a positive work environment for our over 1,400 employees.”

As a Southwest Area award winner, Anthony is now eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2006 national program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the overall national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California on November 18, 2006. The overall national Entrepreneur Of The Year award recipient is then considered for the world event held in Monte Carlo.
